Just curious, never knew they were there.  Any positive or negative comments?

All I know is the longtime service mgr is now at Great Bay.

Did you ask in NEMHA?

If by Great Bay  you mean the one in North Hampton NH, I can personally attest to a 100% positive experience dealing with them.  Incredibly friendly and helpful in me buying my first Duc, not pushy whatsoever.  Really hooked me up with accessories too, even threw me a bone when I missed their open house because I was out of town.

And if your talking about a different Great Bay...then the above still holds true about the one in NH.

Bought a part at Riverside once; their parts counter person was very helpful and friendly.

No, this one is in Somerville.  Just saw a banner ad on a website - but had never heard of it (which isn't saying much).

Really just curious if its worth checking out in general as it is close to me.

That's the Great Bay I was referring to.

Bought my S2R, a lot of my gear, and several parts at Riverside. Dana in the parts department is always great to work with and will help you find the right gear and parts for you. Jarome in the sales department was the one who helped me pick out my bike and he always stops to ask how I'm doing and how the riding has been when I see him either there or at any of the local events. So far the only service I've had done there was the 600 mile service and replacing my rear tire, but I haven't had any complaints at all. I'd say it's worth stopping in there if you're in the area.

I had a slightly different experience - Called to get fork bushings and was told that they were in stock drove the 1.5 hours each way down there and they handed me fork seals which is not what I needed. They assumed I wanted the seals.

Great Bay had what I needed and knew what I was talking about. Eastern (rough start but now really like) knew what I was talking about but didn't have what I needed.

At the risk of Jacking the thread I appoligize for this...   Ducpainter...When I picked up my 696 and told the salesman Chris about my plans for another set of plastic for the bike, he told me to let him know when I want to do it because he knows "the best painter in the business" was he by any chance talking about you?

I've never bought more than a couple random items from the guys at Riverside but have spent plenty of time in there looking at Ducs and Bonnies.  The owner Carlos is a nice enough guy and always interested in a chat.
