"I WAS GOING HOW FAST, OFFICER?"

« Reply #15 on: March 17, 2010, 10:01:22 PM »

Loony, i re-read my post. I think i did make it confusing....

The connection point that i mentioned is the connection between the mid-pipe and the exhaust. So, if the exhaust is 50mm, could i get the 50mm mid-pipe/headers and just slide it on?

i don't think so, the slip on system follows the std lines, much like the earlier S4R and S2R, the full system shown above is completely different, but look at it! it is nearly as sexy as the spaghetti system on the 888's.......nearly Grin

i'd agree, i don't think there's any way you'd get slip ons to fit with a cut up full system header.

we had some cat eliminators made for the s4rs, but the guy who bought all the ducati stuff when it went under doesn't seem to want to sell any.  not for less than 50% over retail anyway.

you can get them from marving or spark i'm sure.  not sure how much difference it'll make mapping wise - a full system makes a hell of a difference to an s4rs.
