I like my Evotec system....sits the plate out even with the end of the (OEM) pipes and at a slight angle. Looks clean and stock enough that you won't get pulled over and ticketed for it....the ones that tuck the plate in past the pipes get ticketed quite often up here in Canuckland..

That looks good.  I've got my kit on the way.  I don't think I will feel like fabricating the blinker bracket so I will probably stick with the out of the box look, but I like the way that looks.

I'm extremely happy with my CW kit, nothing looks as clean as moving your plate low

sorry cell phone pics
and, i fabbed up that blinker bracket. the one downside of moving your plate low, no given signal location, took me 10 minutes, and looks fine powdercoated to match

+1, what matters is you like it.  If we all listed to the comments on this board, none of us would own a 696.

I'm sure all of the kits mentioned above are awesome, but I'll just throw in that the Evotech is a pretty amazing unit as well.  Very well made and looks the business as well.

+1 for Evotech.  High quality and easy to install. I had a CW but didn't really like it.

On the 1100 it retains the stock storage I'll take a pic when I get home tonight. I don't know if the 696 is the same.

DT... i think you're thinking about the space that is actually where the 1100 flapper valve control. i use it for storage space as well on the 696.

so far none of the short tails take out the stock storage bin which sits in front of the tail system
