I grew up just up the hill in Port Jefferson Station (zip 11776 -Port Jeff in the flyer is 11777).
There are no Ducati's there!
The area used to be a small fishing/farming community.
It is now a big tourist trap. Traffic is HORRIBLE.
The unsightly bikes are HD types.
There is a fair bit of parking on any of the side streets -but never enough.
Unless you are waiting on the ferry to Bridgeport Ct. ...don't go.
Danford's Inn isn't that great of food anymore.
There is a pretty diverse gang culture in the neighborhood now.
I grew up there -I left.
