Are you enjoying that new camera? I went and had a look at it as I've been looking to add to the stable of travel cameras cause I'm sick of carrying the DSLR with me when I go away and not really using it.
Been looking at the Olympus EPL-2 in the twin lens kit along with the electronic viewfinder. All for less than $1000.

Loving it Matty.
It is a little quirky to master but a few days playing and it works a treat.
If you shoot RAW pretty much all the quirky stuff goes away.
Awesome JPGs though.
APS-C sensor over the m4/3 wins hands down. Dynamic range of the X100 is awesome.
Fixed 35mm (35mm equivalent) lens is a gem.
Slightly bigger than the G9 but about the same weight.
All the pics on the blog with "DSCF" in the file name are X100 pics. Just remember that they are reduced to 75% in scale & 75% in quality. Most are JPGs straight out of the X100 with a few RAW saved as JPGs.
Replaces my ageing G9.
I use Capture One Pro V6.2 to process my pics. It now has a profile for the X100 and supports RAF (RAW file format).
The EPl-2 is a very cool camera which I also looked at. But for what I shoot the X100 is the one for me.

Cool, for me I think the 35mm only would be just a bit too limiting. I too need to replace my very very aging G7!
I do like the look and feel of the Olympus, the fact that I can have two lenses to it is also attractive. If I wanted a fixed lens camera the Fuji is indeed the choice. I do shoot a lot of RAW files but not often when I travel it just takes up too much room. My processing is all done via CS5 which might also be upgraded to 5.5 soon too.

Hi All Day 470 of retirement has been posted. http://trevorkloeden.wordpress.com/2011/05/Our guests (Deb, Pam & Mike) who arrived here last Sunday for a 3 day visit were finally able to leave the island this morning on a RoRo (after 7 days) due to Typhoon Chedeng. No damage at all here as it went far east of us. Just some rough seas and a bit of wind. Boats and planes were cancelled. The joys of travel in the Philippines during a Typhoon. Enjoy Big (Got the house back) T
