It's like I keep saying:  Those who would sacrifice a free range session for a giant beer, deserve neither free range time nor a giant beer.

Why did these 2 guys feel the urge to take off their shirts in the middle of the fight/wrestling match?  Is there any advantage gained by going shirtless?  Is it for intimidation?  to prevent over heating?  one less thing for the opponent to grab on to?   ???

I would have to say that there is an advantage.  It is one less thing for the guy to grab, get in your own way (over your face) or get choked with.  Usually there isn't time to take ones shirt off before a fight, but if there is, I would deffinetly take mine off.  This claim was reinforced many times by my ex-con wrestling coach.  I have done it a couple of times and it also stops from getting blood on your clothes or a chance for them to get ripped.   [evil]  [bang]   [leo]   :-[

Sadly, he did appear to be the winner out of those altercations...

If the term winner could be applied to anyone on that show, which is doubtful.

redxblack

the only downside of shirtless fighting is the increased chance of a purple nurple.
