So, do I not mention title in the listing?

"The was removed because it violated the eBay Vehicle Related policy.

The sale of vehicles, vehicle parts, and items related to the transfer of vehicles (such as titles and registrations) is heavily regulated. eBay urges members to educate themselves about the applicable laws (which vary from state to state) before listing an item.

In our effort to ensure a positive online trading experience for all our members, we have developed several policies and requirements relating to the sale of these items. For example, listings for frames with titles are not permitted on eBay. Vehicle titles can only be sold on eBay with the accompanying vehicle."

Guess I didn't. Never thought of it being the entire bike. I think they charge $100 to list on Ebay motors, even if he doesn't sale?

Do you mean the Ebay motors Motorcycle Parts section?  This is where I always see parts frames listed.  I've never seen a frame for sale under the Motorcycle section.

that's where it was listed. Maybe I should leave out the title portion.

frame w/title = vehicle

they want your money, so they make you list it as a vehicle in ebay motors.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

What frame and title are you selling?  Have you listed it here on the forum yet?

It's listed in the parts section, parting out S4 or something like that

I bought a frame with title on ebay less than a month ago, it wasn't in motorcycles just parts.  List it as a frame and put the title information in the description.  Most of the frames go for $300-$1000, I can't imagine someone paying $100 for something that sells for so little.

Yep.  That's it alright.  Seen it before.  They want your money.

Looking at some frames today, looks like you can't use the word title at all, even in the description.  Seems a lot of people are just saying "papers"

eBay has grown to be nothing more then any other greedy corporation who knows they have the market cornered. The sad fact is eBay just don't care about their Sellers! They are out to pull as much profit per transaction as possible.

I'll have to say... it is a great place if you're a Buyer. BUT as a Seller they WILL and do bend you over a barrel! They can take up to ~19% after you factor in their Paypal fees on your average ~$100 item.

I pray for the day they(eBay) get some real strong competition. AVOID eBay altogether if you can and try to sell here or CL.

I can't blame them for doing what I would do in their position.
