they have it listed for 11,195  I am wondering what I should offer them

I don't have the answer you are looking for, but I can attest that the Monster at Coleman seems to be in pretty nice shape.  I live down the street and have checked it out a few times.

Coleman is kind of annoying though... good luck getting them to budge on price.  I am 26 and was in there shopping.  Maybe because of my age, I got piss poor service, so I left.  Ended up going to Battley Cycles in Gaithersburg with way better luck.

As far as 07 S4R (not s) pricing, I just bought one with 0 miles for 9.7k out the door.  Not to say that is what you will find, but if you do see any of the standard SR4 for sale... keep that in mind I guess.

Either way, just my thoughts on the subject, good luck!!

Whatever you feel is a fair price for a bike that you apparently want.

Said like a true salesman  Wink

Most people factor in market value to what they think of as a fair price, and that's what caffeind is looking for help with...

KBB has it at about $10,300 and NADA is about $10,600 (with $300 for aftermarket pipes). Actual value of mods will vary. Both assume normal miles, etc., but their mileage table is a little  Huh?

When I was shopping for my S2R1000 I came across a ton of S4R bikes for sale.  Between eBay and Craigslist, there are a lot of bargains out there.  People buy them new and then sell them because they are such over-powered beasts.  My 2 cents.  Have you ridden one?

I did ride one a few days ago,  it was not much of a ride though  very short in traffic.

I have owned a couple of in line four,  liter bikes in the past

Hi, offer them $10, 500 and stay firm.

I sold a '07 S4Rs last Spring the was pure stock , that had been delivered to me w, only 7 prep miles on the bike.

I never rode it and kept it on a battery tender inside under a nice soft Porsche cover.

I had another just like it that I modded and rode .

I  moved the new one for just over $10 K.

Accessories don't mean shit for value when you want to trade a sometimes sell a bike because everyone likes different mods.

Miles , now tha't another story.

If you really like the bike ...and what's not to like about a S4Rs ...then I'd offer them $10,500 .

Just bought a 07 s4rs a couple months ago...3800 miles, clean, virtually stock other than mirrors, a couple other minor things.  Paid 10 even at a dealer..didn't think I got a steal, but was very happy with the deal, as it was just what I wanted.  I didn't want to agonize.  It was just what I wanted...did the deal, didn't look back.  Love it.

Do you want a bargain or do you want "that bike"?

If you want that bike bid 10K to 11k and you will get it. Be happy and start enjoying it.

If you want a bargain....

Find the price that makes sense to you. Dont be afraid to bid too low. Make a serious offer, written if they ask for it. if they say no, leave them your number and walk away.

Thats how I get my bargains. If and when they call you back you still have an out if you changed your mind.

You will be surprised at how many dealers call back.

I would bid $9700 and settle for close to $10k. As you can see by the string of emails, there are plenty of bikes out there at the $10k level.
