There are several posts about the AS-12 on the No Moto Content/show off your guns thread. I posted up about it and linked the same vid. All the former military folks say that no branch has adopted the AS-12 and there are no plans to do so. Still a neat gun. Would love to see a more detailed vid on field stripping it and more detail on the parts that make it up. Check out the thread, good stuff on it! waytogo

D'oh!  Roll Eyes Didn't know you'd already posted it on the thread. I do look at that thread regularly but haven't in the past few days. Well, it was taken off of TV for crying out loud. Therefore I knew it was bound to be true....right?  Huh?

For a LOT less money you could get a Saiga 12 gauge with a removeable 12 round magazine locally in DFW...

If you can't stop it with that you shouldn't have been make the beast with two backsing with it.  Wink

No kidding! What's that great self defense line: You stop shooting at them when they stop doing whatever it is that made you want to shoot at them in the first place. waytogo

I have been inquiring about that Saiga around town already and it seems that it has many configurations. 12 round mag seems good enough. Actually I just thought that in auto mode it would be fun to shoot.
