It all started when I got a shiney new tank from Ducati late last year. I decided that the rest of the bike looked a little rough. Being five years old and about 12k on the clock it was time for upgrades and a good cleaning.

I got some adjustable showas off eBay to upgrade the front end. I had Eric, from Clubhouse Motorsports, rebuild the forks with racetech goodness.

Nate (Ducpainter) refreshed my plastics to like new condition [thumbsup]

I had the fork tubes, ride height adjuster, heel guards, ohlins stabilizer brackets, Rear brake carrier, and the bar risers all black hardcoat anodized.

I took the triples and ground down all the casting burrs. Then had them along with rear sprocket carrier and belt covers powder coated pumpkin. The color match to the tangerine on the bike is almost an exact match. I also pimped out my grill [cheeky]

I took the rear swing arm apart and had it pc'ed black. Looks great !

I put new head bearings in... New tires.... And some new bars and barends

The exhaust is stock with a dp midpipe. The cans are cored and then ceramic coated. I took the guard off the top can and the bolt holes tigged and ground smooth. You would never guess there were holes there.... Seamless and smooth.

Because I run with twin lights and the fairing... I made this abs piece to fit behind the fairing. Without it the gap showed all the wiring behind the lights. This piece made it look cleaner.

I do want to thank a few people. Without their help I don't think I could done this project

Gage(Stefan) for giving the extra hand when needed.

Monstermash (Tom) for the axle and advice on rear swingarm

Heman (Kui) fir the quick answers to my questions.

Eric at Clubhouse Motorsports.

Nate ( ducpainter) for the great job on the plastics.

And my wife Jill. She just understands the need for a guy to tinker.  :-*

I really like what you've done. Are the mufflers fully or partially cored? I like the heat shield deletion, nice work there. That's a hot bike. Dog is cute.
I'm thinking though now you might want to look at lowering the headlight, just seems like a huge amount of space between the light and the front fender. Also, the side engine cases and rearsets would look good PCed black. Maybe chop the cans a couple? Your work is giving me ideas for my own, thanks

Looks awesome, question: I see you have risers on your bike; did you need them with the new monster adjustable forks or was it just something you wanted to do? Also what monster forks did u use?

Thanks and again, awesome work

The horns are Hella super tones.  One under the lights ad the other located in the stock location.  They are VERY loud and annoying.

The risers are needed cuz I'm old!  It's just a comfort issue for me.  The forks were off a S2R100
