I want to know who has gotten into the most trouble on their duc?   Speeding tickets, fleeing(successful or unsuccessful), etc.

I have been riding for less than a year.  Never had a speeding ticket, but I'm getting bored with the speed limits.  What's your average highway speed?

I think that in regards to your inquiry about speeding tickets, you may find your responses to be limited. It's a well known fact that law enforcement frequent sites like these (some may even be fellow Duc riders and members). So I highly doubt that anyone would post up any incriminating information.

Additionally real outlaw bikers now monitor this forum and will be alerted if it is perceived that you have disrespected them in any way. We are all great big pussies here and sit on the internet all day making sure there is no porn around because we are too scared to actually ride our bikes. I suspect the responses to this thread will be limited.

The fastest I've ever gone is 88 mph... then the flux capacitor kicks in and I end up somewhere else.  Grin

I got stopped by the Sheriff the other night, on a smooth flat road with no real twisties. I like to feel the acceleration, not so much top speed, so I goosed it to 80 or so and engine braked back down. He got me going 75 in a 55. This road is one of those roads that you could go 120 safely on but because of the agricultural activity during the day I suppose it's limited to 55. Anyway he let me go, guess he liked the bike or something, but he told me he let me go because I stopped. Most of the time people don't. I don't run from the police.

We were riding on some nice paved forest service roads and just sailing along... and the bike started sputtering and the dash was lit like a Christmas tree.... my first experience with the rev limiter... I was in 6th gear on the 848.... speed can be assumed here.... nuff said.  [moto]

I've only been riding for 8 months or so, I don't have any business pushing the limits on my bike yet, illegal or otherwise.  That said though I did get it up to about 115 a while back to get an idea of what it's like, how the bike would handle it, etc.  I do want to be a skilled and competent rider, but not a menace to society, I'll leave that to the squids.

This is a bit embarrassing but... Out in the boon docks, Washington state, riding a long straightaway, 50mph posted limit, doing 80-100 off and on, came upon a pick up truck going 60 in a posted passing zone, but since I was doing 90, I passed and it happened to turn into a no passing zone at that moment. Yup, the pick up was a sheriff; he only had a star on his door, not the back and no lights. Oops. He only gave me an illegal passing ticket, no speeding and he laughed at me when he so... ha ha ha

Great stuff.   Can't you be arrested if you're going so much over the speed limit?
