It's hard to turn me off with music. If I pull any Metallica out of my catalog it'll be older Metallica, like maybe Trapped Under Ice. For Sabbath I'll take Fairies Wear Boots.
As it turns out, I'll listen to almost any form that's considered radical or extreme, but I'm really not into pop music forms. I'll listen to (and enjoy) rap, metal, bluegrass, flatpick, country, some jazz, classical....I'm just not into soft rock or dance, or pop country, or pop R&B. Maybe I'm just a rebel?
If I had to choose one band to listen to for the rest of my life to the exclusion of all others it'd be a toss up between Pink Floyd and Rage Against the Machine, leaning toward Rage at this moment.
Kurtis is the stuff, Nic.

Cloner, I know it's not the "real deal" but here is everything in a different wrapper.
That's Tom Morello from Rage & Dave Navarro from Jane's in the third vid.
Robert Trujillo from Metallica jam with Rodrigo Y Gabriela Chicago
Rodrigo Y Gabriela's Video 'For Diablo Rojo'
Whole Lotta Love sung by Franky Perez at the Slash and Friends Concert
Slash & Jerry Cantrell - Acoustic Wish You Were Here
And the real deal
Black Sabbath - 06 - Fairies Wear boots
I posted the G rated version of this on the general... felt it was worthy of a view here.

Liquid Cheese is playing at the Launchpad tonight. Always a good show at a cool venue.
Cannibal Corpse is playing at the Sunshine saturday night. They'll be filming the concert for their tour dvd (good or bad, i'm not sure how the filming will affect the performance)
Deftones at sunshine may 31st! <-- this will be amazing...

Website? Ticketmaster? How long is the drive? Do I need to take a day off? June 28th is a Monday, for reference....so maybe 2 days off?

red rocks is up by denver. two days off would probably be best. i assume ticket master would be the way to go. i'm probably gonna pile a bunch of people in my suburban and head up there. this will be my 4th time seeing TOOL (my favorite band)... always an awesome show.
