Here's what I ended up doing...
2" rise Woodcrafts, do not look much taller but the comfort is so much better for me now. Such a subtle adjustment and a huge improvement, I can ride much more relaxed now. I managed to find some pics that should give a good idea of the before/after difference. You can see now the bars are the same height as the top triple, rather than completely below it, for some reason this small chance made a big difference in comfort.

Bike is much more practical now, also added an aluminum flywheel which turned out to make a big improvement too!
