I recognize cans not by how they look (usually) but by how they sound.

I guess the question would be has the bike been outside a lot.  The UV rays will fade the stickers and then they look  vomit

Adamm, I think the fact that you are considering taking them off shows which way you are leaning and perhaps you just want confirmation that the world won't end if you do.

For me they just seem a little obvious, big and well, not very complimentary to the bike ... but I am the shy reserved type. I reckon Termis are a bit cliche for a Ducati but I am assuming you didn't buy them just because they are Termis ... so what does it matter, do what you like.

You peoples that can identify a pipe by sound are bloody legends. The same pipe on different bikes sounds different to me ... so different pipes on different bikes - I've got no chance. I don't care about brands - if you like it (looks, sound, performance) that's all that matters.

Leave one on one can, and the other off. It'll be like having two bikes.  Grin

Take 'em off-they add weight  Tongue

Or at least the cans will fade evenly.

No problem to me either way.

I took mine off before I left the dealer. They are on the fridge in the garage.

And I asked the dealer to please not start my bike for the first time before the termi kit was installed.  I don't know why, I just did.

Believe me, if the factory designers/builders could have, they would have sold the bikes with the kits installed.

IMHO, as delivered, stock OEM Ducatis with stock gearing are POS as compared to kitted bikes.

I am assuming you didn't buy them just because they are Termis ...
this is what i question, since he is asking everyones oppinion

To tell the truth, I don't know a lot about motorcycles when it comes to aftermarket stuff.  I'm sort of mechanically disinclined.  My first Monster already had aftermarket pipes on it, so I didn't have to choose.  I've heard the CF Termis in person and loved the sound.  I love the look of CF on my Dark Monster so I definitely wanted CF pipes.  I did some research, but not as much as I probably should have.

I just kept hearing how great they were (sound, performance, etc...) and since I already liked them a lot, I bought them.  Also, the only negative thing that I heard about the Termis was the price.  Since I lumped the purchase of the pipes in with the price of the bike, the cost wasn't much of an issue.

I don't know what I want to do with the stickers yet so I figured I'd ask.  You guys tend to have good advice, and I value the opinion of the members of this board, so I asked.

If you're going to keep them on..get aftermarket stickers. The B&W or W&B look much better!
I think the Termis look bulky on the 696/1100.  I'm leaning towards the Leo Vince cans.

I may just put a B&W Termi sticker on them though since I dislike the LV logo/colors more than the Termis.    cheeky
