Hey folks,

In early March I made the trip to Italy and visited Venice, Cinque Terre, Bologna, and Rome. Naturally I visited the Ducati factory and did the tour. They don't allow photos of the factory, unfortunately, but I snapped some of the museum.

The whole Italy trip set is on flickr here:

About halfway through the set you can see the Ducati Museum photos.

I wanted to say thanks to the folks who commented on my thread when I was thinking of visiting. Got a lot of good ideas from all of you!

The trip was fun. Next time I go to Italy I'll definitely rent a bike!

I was at all of the above when I lived in Florence. Cinque Terra is definitely one of my favorite places to visit but probably not a lot of fun to live there. My time spent there was pre-Ducati though so I didn't get to visit the factory or museum....

Guess that gives me all the more reason to go back!

Glad you enjoyed your time

Nice Christian!  we should all try to make this trip at least once in our lifetime.  I hope my pilgrimage will come soon.

Looking forward to some good riding this year..

Definitely!

My buddy and fellow Monster rider Devon and I are planning a long weekend trip to Montreal sometime this spring/summer. I'll keep you posted if you want to tag along!

I will almost certainly be riding this weekend. Smiley

That is interesting! I was snapping photos in that room quickly before we moved on through the tour and I didn't even notice it!
