Looking to dark the monster
«

Here's what i got and I need your help. Have an 06 S4R with red paint, black stripe and red frame. I don't want to do anything to the engine cases. I started powder coating and now have an addiction to say the least therefore I thought of a Dark monster with red frame. I have PC'd the swing arm, handle bar, risers, lower tripple n plate, headlight ring and yet more to come. Need your suggestions what she should look like. anyone have similar pics?

This one recently got unveiled. Something like what you're imagining?

Me too... I'm also looking for ways to make it even darker but keeping some kind of balance. I'd like to see pictures of other forum members dark versions. My bike have a dark frame, but I've actually been playing with the idea of having a Ducati red frame, the picture above is an amazing example!

Here you go. I still have a bit of work to do to it. I still plan on coating the exhaust. I hope this gives you some ideas.

Hey ducrider, did you carve down your rear fender? If thats the case do you have some pics from the shifter side?
(sorry for the slight threadjack, I'll post new photos of my own dark for you soon too)

That is a custom swing arm. I made the fender out of a plastic wastebasket.

Thanks, I'm thinking of grinding my fender down to a similar size so I can still have the chain guard. Nice exhaust too, btw.

Here's my dark. I went with gold forks because I thought even more black may make it muddled in a sort of way, though I've totally seen awesome bikes with black throughout.

Ducrider, what is the Ducati tank logo made of? Is that a decal or what ? Very original.
