i picked up a set of 2006-2007 r6 forks with matris F05R's :-). i believe i bought them for a fair price. considering what i was going to buy djrashinal's for.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200456316101&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_1819wt_886

i cannot wait til they arrive. from my findings the regular 06-07 r6 has 50mm upper and 52mm lowers. the 06-07 r6 "S" i a totally different fork(non inverted).

this is the part list i used with a early 17/20/25mm axle

* 06-07 r6 forks (50mm top, 52mm bottom)
bore the left axle(22mm) side to 25mm and have a 1.5mm think sleeve made for the right (28mm) to adapt the 25mm axle.

* 17/20/25mm monster axle w/sleeve nut . shave the lip off the sleeve nut

*metal sleeve spacer from the speedo drive. will have to destroy it or have one made.

* 06ish radial calipers. for clearance issues, shave 2mm off the inside of the calipers. i also filed the lettering off the front spokes. most jap bikes use the same mounting, but don't even think about the 6 pot r1. some calipers are slimmer so you wouldn't have to shave them.

* (4) m10x1.25x75+mm bolts. i would say 75-85mm would be good. extra insurance

* ( 8 )5/16 washer from home depot .11 each. to space calipers out. 2 on each brake mount

* 20 gauge sheet aluminum. to shim the bottom triple for the 52mm forks

* r6 fender. pay close attention. 06-07 fork only have 2 mounting holes. 1 in front of the leg and the other behind.

rotors didn't have to be spaced. no special axle spacers had to be made. the speedo drive spacer works w/o moding

25mm monster/ss axle swap parts

*25mm monster/SS axle and nut
*25mm speedo delete spacer part# 71410281a $7
*bore forks out to accept the 25mm axle
*machine 5.82mm off the length of speedo delete spacer

please check your work measurements before machining. machining of the calipers are still needed and spacing the caliper out 5mm to fit 320mm rotors.

that looks awesome! i was thinking about picking up someting like this too, no need to go to SBK forks, but still get the 25mm catridge.

theres a ZX-6 fork out there with the same F05 internals.... what brakes are you going to use?

i going to use the r6 calipers. i could use either the gsxr or r6(same bolt spacing), but the r6's are nice looking and smaller and suppose to be monblocks. r6 calipers are an upgrade over the gsxr's.

i'm unsure what masters i'm going to go with though.

i guess i'm more or less going to gther parts cause i have to buy clip ons, calipers, masters, spacers, shims, etc.

another plus if it's true. the seller said the forks are sprung for a 165ib rider. after looking on racetech's site, a 165lb rider on an r6 uses a .853 spring. and the spring rate for my monster needs a .85 . i really hope that's right. if not oh well.

let me know how it works out. if i had saw that i would of bought it under you.  Wink

i really dig those F05R catridges, ive seen them go for about $700 bucks...but if i can get a hold of them inside an R6 fork for that price. man, id be ontop of it. Check the caliper spacing...maybe you can get Brembo radials to fit....

Im looking all around for these gem sales...really like those R6 forks too.
