each bike is different, even though it maybe the same model.. you WILL need to get a dyno'ed map for your bike. Dont bother with downloading the maps from PC.. they dont work.

I'd try the M710-004 (S4R Model, Arrow full exhaust and K&N air filter) from here:
http://www.powercommander.com/powercommander/powercommander_iii_usb.aspx?mk=5&mdl=23&yr=2005

Certainly not as good as a dyno map, but should be a decent start.

thanks,

that is the one i use now. I tried another one, and i was terrible. The one you suggest works well, but not perfectly. Still some backfire and not perfectly smooth running at around 4000 rpm.

Any other good maps?

I don't know of another map.
Doesn't mean there isn't one out there...

Modify the map yourself?

Hi Mikkel

Hestmann Motor in Oslo is listed as a service center. Don't know what they do, but worth a call?

No you dont need to. The problem with the PC website, is the map profile is all over the place. A proper map from what I was told should be straight horizontal lines to provide a consistant CO, HC reading out the tail pipe.

Just got mine done @ Ducshop.  One of the things mentioned is that no matter how good of a map you have if your cams aren't degreed it won't make a difference.  Bite the bullet, take it in and get cams degreed and a custom map...you won't be sorry!
