No, and I'd like to point out that I do think it sucks that the guy got shafted on the lines. However, one of the other brake line manufacturers measures them "hole-to-hole" with fittings included, which is substantial difference from the "middle run" length, excluding fittings.

The risk is that if the shopper is constantly  "experimenting" with line length to get it right and is only subject to a "restocking fee", the vendor continually gets screwed with a large amount of unsellable custom product. So, a restocking fee is really pretty reasonable, the alternative is that the vendor imposes a "no returns" policy on anything that is custom ordered.

Also, i have no idea what is goin on with your clipons.

We're talking about 1 manufacturer. not 2, so how another company measures it is a moot point. Spiegler does it one way and one way only.

As far as experimenting goes, we're not talking about that either. It would be messed up for someone to just spend $20 each time and get a few lines to mess with. But again, we're not talking about that here. We're talking about a buyer eating the restocking fee and putting faith in SBTG to make the order right (which they didnt, they added 10 inches instead of 5). So really, is it erics fault that theres an incompentent person taking his order?

I dont know wtf is up with my clip ons. I dont know how a 53mm could of gotten into a batch of 50mm. and it woudnt of made a difference if i bought it from SBTG monsterparts or apex directly. theres probably a huge batch of them that are mixed up like that.

Since SBTG sent me these free shipping. I would expect them to allow me to fully return these with no restocking fee and get store credit at the very least. ontop of that, id like them to pay for shipping back to them because its a brand new item that should of been correct, not like i ordered the wrong ones. If i paid shipping in the first place, i would be pretty pissed if i had to pay shipping again to get the right thing.

yup. i have a set of Kobe Pro Racer gloves, love them, but they dont fit too well, even though they are XS i have about 1/2" on all the fingers. they run twice the size as indicated
