Whilst cleaning my bike today I noted that, after removing the rear wheel, that there is corrosion & pitting on the wheel axle and aluminum spacer.

Anyone seen this before?

Sounds like another reason for me to never take my rear wheel off.

Yep noticed this when I did the first tyre change.

I greased everything to keep the water out.

It could also be caused by electrolosys with alloy wheel.
