Sad but the right thing to do. He'll probably have a lifetime of shoulder trouble as it is. Enough pain is enough. bang head

Got to meet him several years ago when he was racing in AMA SBK. He was at Advanced Motor Sports Ducati in Dallas. He signed a poster and a Ducati book for me. Super nice guy, no bs, no attitude.

He has said over and over again how much he and his family liked living in the States. What a nice gig... having a place here and IOM!! waytogo
