OTT interview with The Ben:
Edit: I don't know if I can go a full season with if The Ben insists on tweaking my good v. well issue. I might throw the computer through a window.

Finally watched the race last night. The GP race was great. The Moto2 race was phenomenal. I was worried when we lost the 250's but the racing is speaking for itself.

So Bridgestone has confirmed no problems with Spies front tire and Tech-3 has said no issues with the front end on Ben's bike. I wonder what really happened? Did Ben lose his cojones with a bit of slide on the front? I was under the impression one of his gifts is that he handles front/rear slides very well and has no problem with the bike when it gets a bit out of shape. I understand it was early in the race, but he wasn't the only rider with complaints of the front end trying to fold. Mystery!

A guy on the Wera forum noted that Bridgestone complained loudly that the tire was good, but Ohlins said nothing.

Hmmm.
Stoner lost the front end in Qatar.
Ben has some funny business going on with the front end on his bike at Jerez.
Didn't Capirossi lose the front as well?
Rossi suffering with a lack of rear grip, perhaps meaning he's biased his setup to get front grip?
From the linked article:
However, Tohru Ubukata, manager of tire development for Bridgestone, is certain that the front tire on Spies' bike was not the problem.
"We have checked the construction and rubber of the front tire and cannot find any difference," Ubukata said.
"The tire has been sent to Japan for further checks but we will not find any difference; we did all the fundamental checks at the track."
I'm not buying that level of certainty from a track inspection.

Casey and Ducati both said that they had less front grip because the new long bang motor gives them more rear grip, which pushes the front more.
