I've got a set of MW clips set below the triple; install took a bit longer than some brands but they work fine. I have the optional risers that bring them up an inch or two. Still far lower than stock bars. I like em for the looks, but I'm indifferent on how they feel. Honestly the first ride was the only time I even noticed they were different - I went to lean like I did with the stock bars and found the motions of my arms needed to change a tad.

Mine are below the triple without any rise to them. I find them comfortable, and I like how there is more weight distributed to the front. I feel more confident in turns. And the lower profile looks awesome, IMO.
Downside is that the real-estate for brake lines and wiring lessens greatly, so it takes a little ingenuity and patience to get it all to fit again.

I've got SpeedyMoto zero rise clip ons mounted bellow the top triple on my SC. Looks nice, but is a little extreme in the ergo department.

unless you have long arms or are very tall, most people wont like clip ons without any rise.
i have below triple clip ons....with 2.5" rise.

I'm 5'4" and I really doubt I could handle zero-rise bars.

i agree with the post above,
i never understood why someone would use clip ons till i tried a track day on a sportbike with them on, and for the first time clip ons were actually comfortable the entire time and made complete sense.

thats why you get adjustable risers..... above triple for the street, and below triple for the track.
and FTR, once you riden the mosnter with more weight in the front, going backwards from clip ons to bars makes the front feeeeellll liggghtttttttttt. not good feeling.

i'm only 5'10" (on a good day) and love my no rise clipons-admittedly I have only owned sportbikes before my monster so I am used to that position.. but I think it may have more to do with the way you ride and personal preference than physical dimension.

The problem with going above, is that you have to drop/ raise the front end. Which in return, effects the suspension. I went on-top of with my 750 and did not have any problem. Now, I am thinking of going below with Speedy's high boys'.

how much rise do you want? How much adjistbility do you want?
SPeedymoto tallboys, adjustibility? 5/10 Rise? 10/10
Apex Adjustable Risers adjustibility? 10/10 rise 8/10
Apex no rise clip ons? Adjustbility 5/10 Rise 0/10 ease of install 10/10
