i don't care whose they are, or how adjustable they may be, their usefulness on a motorcycle is going to be pretty limited. Also, I can't think of any motorcycle where I saw it and thought, "it would look better if we just put some mirrors on it...its just so incomplete without them"
The first thing I take off when working on my bike is the mirrors. I don't want to constantly bump into them etc while working because, if there's one thing I don't want to spend money on for a bike, its mirrors... And at the end of a project, there's always that painful moment where I put them back on - after staring at how nice it looks without them.

to the PMs, heres the pic of my mirrors. You ahve to move any of the 3 bolts to either
a) spin it on the master cylinder
b) rotate the mirror arm about the mount
c) move the mirror up and down
And to note that if you release any of the bolts, that specific part that you are trying to move, will have spin and either get tighter or looser becasue of friction holding onto the bolt. So you have to use 2 hands when adjusting any 1 part. whcih sucks becasue if you adjust one part and its perfect you just need it to be more foward, it changes the view, and when you try to tighen it, the mirror moves the slightest bit since the bolt pulls on it and it shifts. so you try to hold it down and tighten it, but you end up moving it a bit. It wouldnt be that bad if the mirror wasnt a miniture magnifying glass....
the mirror only spins as if you were looking at the hands on a clock on the wall.

Have a look at the back of the actual mirror head. Unless I'm very much mistook, it has a pivot point about which you can twist, incline and rotate the mirror without any tools whatsoever. My Rizoma mirrors are not the same type as yours, but the way in which they mount is exactly the same. Tighten up all the bolts more or less in as you want it to be. And then be brave, using nothing more than your hand, twist the mirror head with a little.... persuasion. It needs to be tight so it doesnt flop around on the move, but I'm pretty sure it will move if you give it a decent tweak.

My nakeds have the same mounts/stems. I get mine adjusted so they are as high and wide as possible, then get my field of view as Ung stated from rotating the mirror head. I'm sure you know this, but "thou shalt never assume."

Where's the drama in that?
