^ no idea. i haven't heard about the parts coming in yet...   just hope things happen soon.  i'm just glad it wasn't totaled-  parts + labor were 3000!!!!  i'm guessing the bike was only worth 3500-3800 max...     i'm one lucky girl.

(and sorry, sean, no side covers. my bad)

Glad it wasn't totalled...   waytogo

That sounds frustrating that you don't know when the parts will come in or you can get your bike back. Between Icelandic volcanoes and the Italian way of doing things, it may be awhile yet. Sad

But at least it isn't August, otherwise the entire country would be on vacation

Sorry I'm just getting around to chiming in. Sorry to hear about the misfortune, but sometimes it just happens  vomit

The anticipation will making riding your bike that mush better, or at least keep telling yourself that... waytogo

Lol, every time I haven't ridden for more than a week I start asking myself, "Did it make that sound before? I don't remember that vibration..."  laughingdp

A little late, but it still blows.

I really dug your bike, especially the color. Hang in there.

it turns out the mobile adjuster dropped the ball and never called my shop back or made the final approval...   bang head bang head bang head   he has to go back to the shop and give the last ok before the shop can order parts... apparently i was repeating heresy. faaaaack.

this is gonna take FOREVER.

GEEZ...!

That really sucks...   Angry

So the parts that were supposedly ordered a few weeks back were never ordered?  How come the shop never notified you until now?!

Try not to get down about it. (easier said than done, I know) Use it as a chance to make sure you're getting the exact parts you want.

Good luck, you'll be back [moto] before you know it..

this is a good question. ugh.  i should have called earlier, i guess it's partially my fault. there will be a few harder-to-find parts- i might start asking about things fairly soon and seeing if people have parts i can buy, or if anyone can direct me to people parting out. (cluster, etc.)

Keep us in the loop.  Lots of the peeps around here have stock parts they took of when they did mods.

I'm sure some of them would be willing to sell/donate/help in some way.

Unfortunately, all I have are some ugly mirrors and a set of Paioli forks off of a '99 M750.

^ will do, and thanks.  i'm gonna go by the store and get a parts list this week to speed up the process...  i'll work on getting the more difficult parts and let them handle the rest.  the nice thing is i have a semi-decent chunk of change to work with, thank you insurance. Smiley    how lovely when it doesn't come from your pocket, lol.
