im still not so comfortable when the back slides nor do I really know how to make it do that.

when it happens im not flipping out, im just not thrilled. . .

you should look into doing American Supercamp then....

I've been wondering if a dirt school would help with fast street and track riding.

in order to gain the balls and comfort to kick the bike out sideways, American Supercamp is great....for to learn the limits of traction on/for a street riding/roadracing situation, I'd look at Cornerspin which uses some flattrack and some sumo and some roadracing techniques to teach you to learn to be comfortable with proper body position and sliding the bike and the limits of traction.

Im not saying the second guy in that vid is better (he does chop and almost come to a complete stop every turn) but I like to keep my feet on the pegs even if Im sliding around a little bit.
