On a bike it's called "backing it in".

Not on the Sport. I've kicked the rear end out a few times on the SD though. And it was purely by accident of course.

On a bike it's called "backing it in". I hate to be picky. (No, actually I don't ) Backing it in is when you slide the tail out to start the turn. Keeping the back wheel out going around the turn is a power slide. See flat tracking and speedway racing. I stand ready to be corrected of course. That is also why another friend of mine keeps pushing me to get a Hypermotard. Hmmmm.......

Remember what you said on Saturday...that the HM would be a blast on Tantalus, but not so much fun elsewhere...

Remember what you said on Saturday...that the HM would be a blast on Tantalus, but not so much fun elsewhere... Oh, it can be great fun elsewhere! It's just getting to the elsewhere. I remember a certain day getting on a certain H3 onramp somewhere when no one was getting away from me, that is until we actually got on the main freeway. Since I do have to balance between the corners and the straights I think I'll hold on to the 848 for a while longer. Just a matter of priorities. If the corners win out hands down over everything else the HM looks pretty darn good along with the SMR. The Aprilia is very cool too except for an insane maintenance schedule.

On a bike it's called "backing it in". And I will correct myself. Now after having watched the actual video (which I couldn't do at work) Ben is correctomundo. Dani Ribalta is backing it into the turns bigtime. So much so that he almost comes to a stop as he's lining up the exit. Close but different from sliding all the way through the turn & powering out while still sliding. Big time fun without big time speed.

Reminds me of the Top Gear where the girl does the Nurburgring in a Van in 10 minutes.
