I haven't been following the recent announcements re the new 796.  Instead of doing the research myself ( Grin), can someone give me a one-line description to update the Monster Generations FAQ?  Thanks.

796 -- half trellis frame, SSS, dry clutch, radial calipers, 803cc air cooled engine, dual-sided high mount exhaust.

Basically it's a 696 with a bigger motor that weighs 4lbs more with a single-sided swingarm, 1.2" higher seat height, 7 more HP, 8 more lb-ft of torque, and better wheels.

I thought ducati was going to whittle down their offer?  Seems they have more choices than ever (except sport touring)
