Hello
I am now working in Vancouver Monday through Thursday most weeks. I occasionally skip a week when I need some sunlight. I was heading to the airport last Thursday when the cab was passed by what looked like a black 695 (but I only caught a glimpse) on the 205 south bridge over the Columbia.

Just wondering if there any local get together in the Portland / Vancouver area

Welcome!! We don't have any regular get togethers going on right now but I'm sure we can rustle something up and say Hi.

If you're looking for really active folk, check out pnwriders.com.

I'll post up a thread and see if we can get some folks together for dinner. Keep your eye on the Rides thread stickied at the top to see if anyone wants to go ride.

....We don't have any regular get togethers going on right now .....

Because basically we all suck.

Just kidding. Ha ha. It's been slow around these parts lately but come summer I'm sure there will be more.

Buncha lazy bums, that's what we are.  cheeky

Ryan, Chuckles, and JohnnyD seem to meet up fairly regularly.  I'd meet up with 'em, but I don't live in that part of town anymore.  Living in Stevenson (WA) and working in Hood River (OR) means it's a long-a$$ ride into town for an after-work gig.  Undecided

Well... maybe I'm not all that lazy.  Every weekend my wife and I are in town doing social activities, meeting up with family and friends, and now that the weather is good we're riding all over the place.  [moto]

What usually works is to say something like... "Hey, I am going to be here... drinking... at this time... if you all want to come meet me...."   That is really how we all ended up meeting anyhow... well that and... "Hey, I am going to be here... riding... at this time... if you all want to come ride with me...."

Thanks for the responses. In San Diego we have a first Thursday of the month get together in Little Italy. Just thought I'd check to see if there is anything like that going in in the Portland area

A bunch of sport riders seem to head over to a beaverton coffee house every tuesday night... pnwriders.com I think is who does it... they are a fun crowd... I have hung out over there with them.. you should try that too.

Also Ducati Pacifica... they meet up monthly... don't remember the website off the top of my head... but they can be fun too.
