Anyone going to ECR over the long weekend? I am booked for the medium group on the MV for monday 14th.
Will be picking up the Duc and the MV from Dmoto tomorrow after a bit of servicing and tweaking... hopefully your recommendations to them will be appreciated. So far so good all seems great.

I might pop out for a look see Monday, I know Dock will be there.
Saw your bikes out there last week they are in very good hands, I know George said the MV is well sorted now.
Your monster is so pristine though, no road rash on the engine at all. I wish mine was half as nice as that.

Hay Matty , can you turn up "pay n play" or must you pre pay?
Are you riding this day or just perving?

I would also be keen for a Monster track day
any one else want to commit to one soon?

It would be good to go with some seasoned track Evil demon's
for advice on tyre psi, corner speeds etc
kind of like our own superbike school.

Oh any anyone else a bit weary of all this rain vomit

Glad to hear you all had a great time on the track, when I find a bit more courage I'll have to have a go here at Simonds Plains.  Was just curious , having one myself, how fast the 620 got up to.  Specs reckon 190  but I think they would go a bit more than that. waytogo

Hey Dez,

It's not arrive and ride you have to book and pay in advance. There are usually waiting lists you can get on
for each day and the staff can advise if it's worth your while turning up on that in the event of people not being able to attend at last minute or people binning it.

I group day is always great, it's fun to share your experiences of the sessions.
As to psi most on road tyres usually start on 28 psi cold, corner speed well that is personal feel really.
I can't advise you to take it into turn 1 flat out at 200 cause I'll most likely need to be there to catch you on the outside of the turn.
I can say on my 620 I carried about 160-ish through turn 1, as to the rest dunno too busy looking ahead.
What those of us who have been there can help others with is where to be on what parts of the track.

It probably would have the road rash and grime if I rode it more  Undecided

P.S. Like my "Bunnings" paint job on the MV  Grin I can be a real tite ass when I want....

Ah, G'day Dock, fancy meeting you here...

I'll be at the Creek on the 12th too.  I'll be testing the Monster 696 that I'm going to start racing this year on (F3 nakedbikes).

I'll hopefully bring the 848 as well (and hopefully keep the bastard upright).
 Cool
