I had to say goodbye to my Monster S2R-800....

Hi guys, I had to get rid of my 2005 Monster. I bought the baby with 1 mile on it and promptly put 23,000 more on it. I put a full Termi system/ecu/airbox on it. She had a evoluzione clutch slave, and a ZG windscreen, heated grips..etc etc...Here are a couple of pics
So sad, but I got a good deal for her. It was def emotional.
I'm still trying to get to know the new girl. I just picked her up this past Sunday. She's a little different, but I think we'll get along just fine.
I'll let you know how it goes
You guys are the best, sorry for the pic heavy post [moto]

Yeah, I still miss it, even though I got the "Redhead", I just love the simple design of the monster. The fairings are a lot more complicated to remove than the 748 fairings with the Dzus fasteners. I like working on my own bike, I hope this doesn't mess with that too much. [moto]

LOLZ, well in that case here are a couple more.
Here's one of me and my friend Dale picking it up in MA.
Here's one in Delaware I think, just making sure everything is nice and solid. Plus we needed RedBulls STAT!

You are going to miss that wet clutch, 70+hp, and mushy shocks. Good luck getting those qualities on a 1098. And a red one at that. What's next, new Dainese leathers and a constant smile on your face? Get it together man, before it's too late.
Oh yeah, very,very,very nice bike!

On all 1098s? I have a fork set that came with calipers, masters, triples etc. and they are not mono-blocs
