Hey Zenjim, Do you notice a big difference in a$$ temp?  As I was sitting in traffic this afternoon in 95 degree weather, I was thinking it might be nice to not have the underseat exhaust adding to the discomfort.  I would think the boomtubes would make a big difference.
I didn't notice a difference either way. Seems about the same. I never had warm butt syndrome. But on cold mornings I do kick my right leg back a bit and let the pipes warm it.
