aftermarket clutch slaves, thoughts?

I made an install brief for the Yoyodyne clutch slave cylinders we sell that will help outline the steps needed for the change. We've been selling the Yoyodyne clutch slave cylinders for over 10 years and they've been the most reliable aftermarket one available. I had one on my 1996 916 for 30,000 miles. Still on it now, years after I sold it.

I went balls out and bought the NCR slave cylinder http://www.desmoworks.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=401_418&products_id=501&zenid=1a18cdd2abef2769865ffae77c7d1df7 and I can honestly say there is a diff. My friend and I both have Streetfighters. He has the Oberon slave and I have the NCR...fairly substantial difference, but so is the cost.

I take it by difference you mean the lever pull is much lighter?  Did it improve finding neutral (I currently have some issues with neutral even after bleeding).

why is it $300? the brand? or is there something special about it?

it's a 32 mm which is (i think) the biggest i've ever seen.  seems like the pull would get a bit mushy though.  it's $330 cuz some italians carved it out of fresh aluminum by hand with a wooden spoon.
