Cap and bolt from Ducati...$60 and 2 weeks wait. Not too bad.

How do I go about getting the broken bolt out without drilling? Road the bike to work today and neither the bolt nor the axle moved.

Remove the axle block from inside the swingarm, and unscrew the bolt from the front.

Does that involve removing the rear wheel? It didn't look like I could get at it any other way

You have to pull the axle at least out of the right side of the swingarm.

You can leave the wheel in.

Thanks for the help guys!

Took the bike to the shop for my 12k mile service. I supplied the belts. They fixed my swingarm, got my radiator fans working and fully serviced the bike for a total of $265. I was expecting it to be MUCH more than that. Needless to say, I am really happy and can't wait to have the bike back and see how it runs!
