It appears that the hard economic times has affected the beer industry.  Gone is the 12 oz. bottle.  This weekend I bought Red Stripe from Jamaica and Paulaner from Germany, and both had 11.2 oz. bottles.  WTF?  At least Moosehead still has the traditional 12 oz. but for how long I wonder as this trend spreads theroughout the industry.  It's probably BP's fault.

2008 S2R 1k.  Black.  Pazzo Levers, 14 t front sprocket, CRG Hindsight LS mirrors, Cycle Cat Frame Sliders,  Oberon open clutch cover and gold/black EVR pressure plate, full Arrow exhaust with reflashed and mapped ECU, tail chop with gold Rizoma Avio 21 turn signals, Ohlins rear shock and Rizoma fluid reservoirs.

Really?  I could have sworn RS was 12 oz. until recently...first time I noticed it anyway...

its the fault of the metric system.
11.2 is roughly 1/3 of a liter.

Most beers in Europe come in .5 liter bottles, but for export to the US they try not to overwhelm mericans.
