Only two sets of new model Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa road and or track tyres for sale at a discount price. These tyres are being run out as we will be stocking Dunlop control tyres for sale for the 2010 AFXC race season.

The tyres are new and their sizes and models are;

Diablo Supercorsa SC2 180 rears.
Diablo Supercorsa SC2 190 rears.
Diablo Supercorsa SC1 120 Fronts.

I am selling these tyres as sets only until I run out of fronts, then I'll sell the remaining rears separately.
Asking price $475.00 for a 180/120 combination (normal retail is $628.00) and $490.00 for a 190/120 combination (normal retail is $648.00). The tyres are brand new and are unmarked and are well over $100 per set less then normal prices..

Shipping is the purchasers responsibility. Tyres can be picked up from Wakefield Park Raceway with prior arrangement.

Cheers,
Terry O'Neill

But I can get these from MCAS for $459 fitted if you take your rims in to them.
Now if you were selling at $375 I'd be tempted but then they still need to be shipped and fitted.

yep I know your not selling them just posting them up for us to know about.
my rubber is Supercorsa Pro's SC2 rear SC1 front.
I know there is the Supercorsa SP which have even less cuts than the Pro's

...it begs the question, "can we all ride hard enough (on the road) to go 'outside' such tyres?"...for years I ran 'anything' on the back, and a softie on the front. Which brings me to my next question. When 17" tyres were 'new', my first ride on 'em. in the dirt, on a large road bike, felt like I would lose the front at any momment, at anything above walking pace!..the solution was to go down in front tyre size, 120 to 110. Not the manufacturers recommendation. Was it all a mirage? Are modern tyre packages about racing/fashion, or more 'reserve capacity, on the road'? Mike Soderland was doing .44s at E/Creek on a bevel with 18", treaded tyres, for example. One thing is for sure, a lot of folk pay a lot of money for rubber they 'have' to use. I use up 'old' treaded race tyres as road tyres 'coz its such a waste not to. And I see lots of bike shops saying to customers "mate, its 50% gone, its a safety issue, we should sell you new ones." etc. Many riders are persuaded....aunty

Okay
I think sometimes people get hung up on tyres/fuel/bling etc...
Really though none of us will ever out ride the rubber we have on our bikes, we just aren't that good.

How'd you end up going with MCA's yesterday Matty?
Bit random to bump in to you down there.

Unfortunately they couldn't match the price as it was a bulk buy price.
Picked up a pair today for $440, I'll have them fitted come spring/summer after my up coming
most likely expensive 24k service.
