G'day Everyone,

Well long story short, I'm working Casual for a fella at the moment who can get or import what ever you need for your Italian motorcycle...

I will be able to get a secure job if i can show i am able to get some money in other then general sales and work.

I was wondering if i was to organise a group buy what would people want to be able to get there hands on...

I was thinking something small like, Sprocket sets (smaller or standard) just a thought...

Anyway please let me know what you think!

If its a Crap idea please say so! haha

Cheers

I was shouted down for asking too many questions the last time somebody suggested this ... so I will try and stay out of it.

Good luck.

It's not crap Marty.
By anything you/we want what brand(s) are we talking about?
How many people do you need to make it a group buy?
What kinda discount are we talking about?
Lastly, how would the items be distributed i.e. NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, TAS etc...

Quite right

I wonder if we will end up with another sponsor?

But let us look after what we already have

And this is what I predict will happen in this instance as well - check out the replies, wide and varied, and nothing that screams "quantitiy discount".

Not trying to be argumentative or to deter people from trying - just that we are a relatively small group and unless there is something that will be of universal appeal to 10-20% of active people here, we are not going to attract any quantity discounts from anyone (nor should we expect one!)

Yep with our little group of people and a variety of bikes and bike ages group buying anything other than
chains/sprockets, oil and oil filters would be difficult.

We are lucky to have a specific board sponsor and people should be taking advantage of it.
