Comparison, gold front wheel vs OEM wheel.

The wheels are actually a good bit 'brighter' than the pressure plate.

Lose the side covers too. No need for them to hide your beautiful frame

Make the frame gold as well and you will lose any doubt about what color the wheels should be...

Either way, those wheels have a beautiful design and should stand out. Painting them black would make them loose a bit of the attention they truly deserve.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Ducati calls it a Rear lower mudguard, it's an OEM piece.

Gotta take it off, it's aggravating in the photos but normally it's not very noticeable.

Quotethe Monster black frame. It is gay with sparkles all over it.

What makes a black frame gay? Am I missing something here?

So I change my vote and say either change to a color and have your pressure plate colored the same.  Or change the wheels to match the frame.

yep.  we're back to operation stealth.  after seeing the wheel mounted (and agreeing with ALL of you that it is a gorgeous wheel) i just am not feeling the color in relation to the rest of the bike.  just not me.

I'm too conservative to go with the gold rims. Be careful though, you don't want your bike to be all black. You need some contrast. You already have black bike with black exhaust, forks & headlight. Maybe the new wheels should be silver to match the frame.

Maybe you could try a black and silver combination like these.

in American-speak, "gay" no longer really means "homosexual" it just means something different.  I am not sure what.

South Park did a whole episode on it.

OK, thx.

Wikipedia:
Quoteamong younger speakers, has a derisive meaning equivalent to rubbish or stupid (as in "That's so gay."). In this use, the word does not mean "homosexual", so it can be used, for example, to refer to an inanimate object or abstract concept of which one disapproves. This usage can also refer to weakness or unmanliness. When used in this way, the extent to which it still retains connotations of homosexuality has been debated.

whoops, did i just show my age? :P i guess the proper spelling for it is "ghey". But i meant that the frame with sparkles on it blows, and by blow, i dont mean coke or oral sex. It looks like fantastical crap. Why is it like that? Im not so sure. The GT1000 and the 999 got the shiny gloss black frame. why couldnt the monsters get that too?

What if a girl really is named Nancy and she is indeed a homosexual?
