When I ride the 130 mile haul between cities I put my heels up on the frame that's horizontal up hear the front area of the fuel tank. Seems to work alright and it shifts my sitting position just enough for me to be able to stretch out my back. Plus my feet can be put on the pegs again pretty quick in the event that it's necessary.

I have Cycle Cat pegs, so I can lower them on longer hauls.  Thanks for the link though man.
