Interesting.  I still have this one but the one I'm modifying is getting rid of that angle altogether, revealing more trellis.  Good to know people like it!

I like this too, and mo trellis = mo betta!   [moto]   chug

how about bringin it down and forward to match the tank on the lower side. basically taking out the second lower tank transition. paint it the same color as the tank and you'll see what i mean. I like the curve over the grab handles, gives it a wider butt, more SBKish.

too me this gives it a more old naked 1992 SS. nice.

Throw a piece of foam on there (spray painted black) to give a preview of what it would look like with a seat pad on it. Looks great BTW waytogo. Nice finish. Any pics of the construction process?

More pics will be posted as soon as I have some.  At the moment, the bottom is being constructed.  There really aren't any restrictions on how much this can be modified.  There will be 2 main models of it, the one you see and the one without that lower angle.  This is, of course, unless no one really likes the one that does have the lower angle.  I am trying to integrate some storage into the rear of it.  There will also be options for paint and upholstery as well.  Thanks all, and I will post more information soon.

I do like it, But for my taste, I think the rear hump should be slightly lower. I also agree to either move the angle forward or remove it some. I think it sit's too low below the tank line. If you make them, I am interested.

Photo chopped it to see what it would look like with the above suggestions, but now it just kinda looks like is has the stock seat and cowl profile.

I would be interested with it looking like that and more like a SBK profile from an overhead view (wider in rear the of the seat area - narrow as possible at the tank).

Can you get a pic from an overhead view?

Forgot, what is the weight of the seat so far?

So are we to assume that this will be a production product?
