All the Ducati's made the 1290SDR possible!

BEIN network is broadcasting WSBK from 3:00-7:30pm on Sat, which you can catch on Oceanic ch 1229 (229) if you have the SportsPack...if you don't have the SportsPack it'll cost you an additional $9/mo.

According to Road Racing World Magazine, MotoGP will be on SPEED TV...

Good and crap!!

I'm unsure about the rest of the season, but this upcoming Saturday race can be viewed online through live streaming at 1430 (HST) / 1930 (EST)...

"For those who do not have access to beIN Sport TV, the races will also be shown via live streaming video on www.beinsport.tv. And contrary to what is stated in the FAQ section on www.beinsport.com, network spokesmen have twice confirmed that no special login will be required to watch this coming weekend’s races via live streaming video."

I think that's all well and good. Mostly. It's the live streaming part....... does that mean you have to be awake and online when they stream?  Since I don't have the time I think this old man needs to set computers up I'll likely get beIN for this one race. There's also friends coming in from the mainland who want to see the race so it will have to be recorded for them. I'm exploring alternatives for this race and future races too.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw that—it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

More than one now thank you but nothing is really up and running 100% yet.  Actually not true. I was watching a bit of soccer last night on beIN so that should work.

If all else fails, I can download the race and give you a soft copy on a thumb drive...especially while your friends are visiting.

Thanks but the other side of that is the need for a new big screen for the garage and that is up to the upstairs neighbor. I think he's going for the beIN route instead. There's more to this story. No biggie and thanks again!

Ok folks, the much anticipated Grand Prix season opening race in Qatar this Sunday...I know, WSBK & AMA is more exciting!  SPEED will air MotoGP and Moto2, this Sunday (Apr 7) at 0900 and 1700 (respectively).  Moto3 will air on Tuesday (9 April) at 0600.  1214 for SPEED-HD or 214 for SPEED...DVR is set.

Something I haven't been able to say since he broke his leg ~2.5 years ago- Rossi has an excellent chance at snatching a podium spot!  It's still early in the week as riders improve their setup, but it's always good to see Crutchlow doing well and I hope Spies improves by Sunday (currently in 13th aboard Pramac Ducati).  Colin Edwards is still sorting out his NGM ART bike in 17th place out of 24 riders.  Below are the top 10 FP1 results.

Pos.   Num.     Rider                    Team                     Km/h   Time           Gap 1st/Prev.
1   99   Jorge LORENZO      Yamaha Factory      341.7   1'56.685
2   35   Cal CRUTCHLOW   Yamaha Tech 3        338.5   1'56.743   0.058 / 0.058
3   46   Valentino ROSSI      Yamaha Factory        338.2   1'56.756   0.071 / 0.013
4   93   Marc MARQUEZ           Repsol Honda              344.7   1'57.276   0.591 / 0.520
5   4   Andrea DOVIZIOSO   Ducati Team                  343.0   1'57.538   0.853 / 0.262
6   19   Alvaro BAUTISTA   Honda Gresini             340.4   1'57.601   0.916 / 0.063
7   6   Stefan BRADL           LCR Honda                  343.5   1'57.670   0.985 / 0.069
8   26   Dani PEDROSA         Repsol Honda              344.4   1'57.749   1.064 / 0.079
9   41   Aleix ESPARGARO   Pwr Elec Aspar            325.3   1'57.843   1.158 / 0.094
10   69   Nicky HAYDEN           Ducati Team            341.7   1'57.926   1.241 / 0.083
