In a weird and unpredictable way the season is getting interesting.

Agree...this MotoGP season has been the best in years!  Great run in Germany by Marquez/Crutch/Rossi, with honorable mentions to Bradl and Espargaro!  Next stop...next Sunday...Laguna Seca.

Yawn......

Oh come on, get some coffee and wake up!  coffee  cheeky

It was a good race with a few good passes.  I'm just excited to see someone other than Lorenzo and Pedrosa in the lead!  Hey, I'm easily amused...

A few good passes don't make a race...and the reason Pedrosa/Lorentho weren't in the lead is because they didn't make the show... Roll Eyes

Unfortunately, in recent MotoGP seasons, a few good passes do make a good race!  bang head  I've accepted MotoGP for what it is...similar to watching FIFA cup soccer or NHL hockey!

Thanks for the Hayden article.  He's been a good US ambassador for the Ducati brand.....wonder if he'll get picked up by a satellite team (any seats opening up?) or head to WSBK?!  This is the time (Laguna Seca) when contract info and rumors start coming out.   coffee

I bet Hayden goes to WSBK.  I can't see him going down a similar road that Colin Edwards has been on.

I can't see Hayden on a CRT bike either...he alluded to it, stating he doesn't want to a non-competitive team to just pick up a point here and here.

Lorentho and Pedrosa will be racing while injured at Laguna Seca.  Marquez set the fastest pace during Friday's practice (FP2).

Laguna Seca is already off to an interesting start, with Marquez overtaking Rossi on the cork screw...hope the rest of race will be as interesting (and safe).

Unfortunately, a tragic accident at Moscow Raceway (World Supersport) claimed the life of Andrea Antonelli (Kawasaki).

Crazy race 1 in WSBK...

Going to watch that tonight when I get home.  Found out that they were doing a re-broadcast yesterday evening and got the DVR going on that.

I'm sure the irony of that was not lost on Rossi at the moment and he was probably laughing his ass off.   laughingdp

Oh he was...he was a good sport & congratulated/heckled Marquez for the pass on the cork screw. Adding to the irony, Marquez mentioned how incredible the '08 Rossi/Stoner battle at the corkscrew during an interview on Thursday...just a crazy hunch, I think Marquez drilled/practiced that specific pass at the corkscrew a few times prior to the race. :-)
