I just noticed that the 696 has some nice rectangular and lower profile reservoirs as opposed to the ugly pee-cups on my 1100.  What's up with that?  Any reason why the 696 reservoirs wouldn't work on the M1100?

The 696 has integrated reservoirs

The 1100 has RADIAL masters, much better equipment.

The 696 masters will work fine, you'ld have to swap the master cylinders though

why would you want to downgrade?

Stop worrying about looks, ride the piss out of it.

If you want "prettier" reservoirs, rizoma makes billet ones.

+1 on Rizomas.

696 owners are envious of your pee cups (and radial brake and clutch cylinders).  Get some bling pee cups and you are set to go.  Smiley

There are so many times when I wish my plates were green/white capped CO plates...One day for sure.

I'm putting the Rizos on soon. I think they look great with matching finish on the bars.
