Ok folks, I finally got around to just sucking it up and put the money down for an EMS 4v shim kit, MBP 4v valve collets, and new belts.

I will be performing the 4v (desmoquattro) valve adjustment either this weekend or next, depending on how I'm feeling and I have all the parts in hand ready to go.

Anyone who would like to view or just hang out is more than welcome to come by and help!

Can I vote for NEXT weekend.  Grin  I've got a very important date with MSR-Cresson this weekend.  [moto]

Seeing how my SBK has 10.5K miles I may try and tackle that valve adjustment if I can observe how you do yours.  Cool

I can even bring some food and drinks to feed you and anyone else that decides to stop by. Like I said, I'll just sit back  popcorn and watch.

I might seriously consider this if it's on a Saturday... and I am not brewing... and I can get those tank bags from chill. Grin

If you bring any of your beer I can probably find it in my schedule to come down... Maybe even bring some steaks and other assorted BBQ foods   Smiley

I'll try and ride out to MSR and say what's up  waytogo

David, you should take some video ala Chris Kelly from Ca-cycleworks for others that may want to tackle the 4v desmoquattro vavle job

DOOOODD!!!  Lips Sealed  Can't believe I forgot all about you and those bags. My bad guy. Definitely hit me up if your planning on coming down this way. Of course, plan on setting a little extra time for some Houston hospitality.   chug

If a trip down this way doesn't pan out then just hit me up with a PM and I'll ship those bags to ya.  waytogo

/threadjack
I'd love to visit H-town, but I was talking about meeting Joe at MSR in Cresson.  But if I'm ever in Houston I'll be sure to let you peeps know.
/threadjack done

The 4V maintenance I think is above my head, so I'll bite the bullet on the service rates at AMS.
