I just got off the phone with power commander and the PCV is ready for the 696/1100. Has any one tried one ?
It would be nice to know how it works as there are limits on what can be done with it. They say you can not re-map any thing below 5500 RPM but it comes with O2 optimizers that will richen up the mixture below 5500 RPM's. What do you guys think of no re-mapping below 5500 RPM's worth the money or not ? I'm talking about a 696 with slip on's installed. I'm also wondering if the hi flow air filter would work with the PCV.

there's a thread on this somewhere with some feedback already.

the hi flow filter would work

the issue with the below 5k rpm is the same for all bikes with a closed loop system and apparently more so with the Siemens systems that are learning systems.

I THINK i found a company in Italy that can reprogram the Siemens, but i dont have the cash to work with them just yet.

I think he thread your talking about dosn't give any detail about it other than some guy put one on a bike and will try it out Huh?
Anyway the company your talking is probably this one, http://www.desmolupo.it/ He will re-map or reflash the stock ECU I have several emails into him but what kinda scares me is He says that no one but him can change the ECU after He's done so the way I understand it is if your not happy with the ECU when you get it back you need to send it back to him which wouldn't be a big deal but I don't speak Italian and his English is no good and He wants 450 euro for the work which would be fine with me if it works perfectly I also never really found out if it is a re-flash or re-map it. He can also customize your dash read out up to 14 characters. If this isn't the same company please post up or pm me with the company you found. The PCV is selling for $439.00 and will not raise the rev limit either so if anybody has used desmolupo let us know results.
 Thanks

I plan on getting this setup in the near future....

http://www.waspworks.com/index.php?main_page=document_product_info&cPath=17_22&products_id=25

They are releasing it soon for the 696

Not only do you get the open stacks, but also a PC5 that is already pre-tuned for it and termi's....

Looks pretty sick.

Would that kit work with any open full exhaust system. They also mention that it is designed for use with a bike currently running the DP ecu. Would buying the DP ecu be required to use with this kit?

I think it could be... You can buy the kit pre-tuned for the termi system or buy it with the PC5 untuned for a slightly lower price...

So, you could buy the kit, and then have it tuned to fit your bike's own setup.... That is what I plan on doing...

I think the reason they list the DP ECU is because that's what comes with the termi system... If no DP ECU, buy the kit with the non-tuned PC5 and have it done yourself

Here is a link to another board which has the numbers for this kit...
http://www.ducati.ms/forums/showthread.php?s=3efa404a37680647eb1013cf1dc7171b&t=88258

They went from 75HP to 81HP... A pretty good increase... And I think with a better, open exhaust the power might be higher.... I am curious what I would dyno at with my H-Competition underseat exhaust.... The termi system only added 1 HP according to the dyno....

Excellent info, thanks.

I wonder which version of the H-comp will turn the best numbers Smiley. Whenever this becomes available I'll most likely be buying the kit. Will have it dyno tuned and post the results for sure. Probably won't be until next season though.

Wow, I'm really impressed with the numbers and the chart results he got from the kit. It's funny that the termi gained a net 1hp after custom tuning...
I think I'm sold on the wasp kit.

This is untrue.... You can map as low as 500 RPM at 2% throttle opening.

See screenshot here....
