I'm sorry but when you speak to me I can't  hear you.

Maybe if we all sat in a room together with lap tops & mobiles we could communicate properly Huh?  Roll Eyes

The latest is that Rossi is now thinking of moving to Ducati!

Perhaps the rumours of Stoner moving to Honda are true?  There's one thing for sure - no team's big enough to have Rossi and Stoner together, so while Stoner's at Ducati, Rossi's elsewhere.

Here's what Rossi allegedly said (source: Visor Down )

VALENTINO ROSSI has said he is "not 100% sure" he will stay with Yamaha MotoGP in 2011 - giving his biggest hint yet that he may go to Ducati.

The Italian is recuperating from a badly broken right leg, following his crash in practice at Mugello circuit, Italy.

"I am not 100% sure if I will stay with Yamaha - it depends on what happens next year," said the nine-time world champion.

"I could change bike, ride for Ducati and try to win the world championship with an Italian bike. That would be a great motivation."

Indeed it would. And with Casey Stoner allegedly moving to Repsol Honda in 2011 there's a red-hot seat just waiting for a certain Italian backside to grace it.

Read it in the latest issue of Cycle Touque. There is also an write up about Bayliss might be comming back too! (here's hoping bow down)

Bayliss coming back?  Bayliss was a very likeable bloke - had a charm and an air of larrikinism (is that a word?) that appeals to us Aussies.  Interestingly when I went to Italy 18 months ago and toured the Ducati factory - there was more adoration for Bayliss than there was for Stoner.  So, no doubt Bayliss was great (at WSBK), and recent tests have shown that he's only a few seconds off the pace of the lead guys now.  But a few seconds is an ocean of difference at that level...

Anyhow, as much as we all love Bayliss:  It's. Over.  He won't be coming back.

This is from the horse's mouth (not from Cycle Torque):
“This year I had some tests on the Superbike lined up. I went to Mugello, jumped on the bike and as we all know it went very well. Everything felt easy for me and I said that I wanted to comeback; I guess I started my own rumour.”

“I love riding the bike and I love winning races, but I found out here that it’s not always like that. When I tested here I found out that things weren’t going that good and we ended up going around in circles. That’s when it hit me and it was hard things like that that I didn’t miss about racing. That completely I changed my mind and I spoke too early. I don’t want to come back racing and I don’t want to do any wild cards. I’m retired and I’m happy.”

Okay, we can all  :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( and move on to see what the juggling act that is team &  rider swaps will bring.  popcorn popcorn popcorn

It's the same thing every year.  The silly season starts, rumours fly.  Last year we had Lorenzo coming to Ducati. Done deal, papers signed, etc., according to some websites.

I'll wait until I hear Casey say it.  Cool

Well bugger me.

I wonder if his fan base will grow or shrink as a result of this announcement.

Judging by the comments on the Facebook Ducati site I don't think he's won any hearts and that's without being able to completely understand all the comments in Italian.
