Found out that my assumption about my starter being fried was incorrect - after installing a new starter that made zero difference. Zooom talked me into jumping the solenoid and after a few sparks the bike kicked over as it should. So for 2013 it got a new starter, and will get a new solenoid on top of the starter. I splurged and got a new R.H. switch (starter button has been a problem for a while) and some Motolectric cables. Probably going to pull the injectors for  pro-clean, since I've got all this other stuff out...

I had my GPS, but some roads trails were not marked. The organizers provide a paper (roll) map to follow and the course is pretty well marked. Plus there's sweepers and other riders are pretty helpful.

Getting down with some reno-restor-replace on the 900.

New starter motor (not needed as I've found)
New starter solenoid (was needed)
Motolectric HiCap starter wires (Just because)
Cleaned a layer of case crud off, I didn't realize was so thick
Pulled off the throttle cam and bits for a clean up
Pulled the injectors, they will be sent of for a pro service.
Beefed up the connections on the side stand by pass - they were crimped, not soldered originally
Did other basics like oil change etc etc

Took the "kids" to see the cherry blossom festival. Crazy traffic, stop-and-go all around the tidal basin. But totally worth it, they had a blast!

I stripped the paint off of the CL360's tank and will be spraying some primer on tonight.   Now comes the fun part, trying to match the original metallic green paint it originally came with.
