Glad to hear you're ok.  How did the Levi's hold up??

The Levi's did okay. The only tears/rips were down by my left ankle, but my boots were fine. I can't explain that. I had a set of housekeys in my left front pocket; some shredding there. Some abrasion all over, but the denim was intact.

I think when I landed I made impact on my left side first because that's the side of my body most sore today. I think I bounced/rolled a bit and ended up sliding down the road on my right side because that's the side with most of the rash on my jacket and jeans. While I was sliding I tried to get/stay on my back because I had good armor there and in the shoulders. Easier said than done, of course, but I remember making the effort during the crash.

I should probably say this: I am not, in any way, endorsing Levi's as adequate riding gear. I got lucky this time and will probably change my ways when I get back on the road.

You know what January is?! Got to IMS kick a lot of tires and find AutoHag a new bike month... if you can wait that long. Though that 900 S looks pretty sweet.

Next to the Corona tank top the Levi's jeans is the best bit of apparel a biker can have!  cheeky

Jokes aside, I'm REALLY glad you're ok! Had an almost similar experience some time ago, a lady decided that despite her having a stop sign, she had right of way and no amount of honking and flashing could persuade her otherwise. Damn Blessed cops are never around when I need them. Angry

that is where a nice witness whom was less than a 100 yards right behind him helped cement the story to the nice occifers whom responded and cited the Accord driver for the offense....shame it can't always be that way...

I had the same type tears from my bridge joint "off" and am pretty certain that it's from the broken footpeg. I keep thanking my lucky stars that it only contacted denim and not flesh!!!

I got my Firefox pluggo, ReloadEvery, set to HFL. Will be checking this out at IMS...

Damn! Glad you're OK. Hopefully the driver got sited and you didn't (seems they always want to give you the "failure to control" ticket)

The driver got cited with failure to stop. And since my bike avoided his vehicle, it appears "I controlled" my bike.

Here it is vomit not that it really matters tho, traditionally the exhaust is the first thing to go Wink

BTW, am I the only one to notice some similarity to the StreetFighter exhaust as well.

We'll talk! I'm actually leaning towards previously-owned so's enough money for 2 bikes.

Brian, if you look closely you wil notice the rider in the above pictured Superduke has an eyeball about to pop out. This is a common occurrance due to Superdukulocious.

Also his rightside pocket may have a ham sandwich which coincides with with lack of front tire wear, or perhaps a blue-hair on upcoming sidewalk.
