Was this done at the behest of you, or the little lady?

If it's not obvious, that's whipped cream, as in Steve will get whipped by his little lady!

That sucks - I got a similar one a few months back. Good news was I worked their numbers after gettig some advice and owed about half what they said I did... bad news is that I owed. Go through their stuff and talk to someone in the know. Lots of times they don't take into account time/timing, special status (like military pay exceptions) etc and just barf a number on to the letter.

Spent some more quality time with KTM working out the wheel swap. Couple tricks to it don't make it as obvious as it seemed at first.

they will also work with you to work out a payment plan that YOU are comfortable with.  I ended up owing HUGE amts of money after my divorce and they were helpful setting something up with me.

I don't know how much of a good thing this is (or even if it is a good thing at all), but I've set my paycheck allotments so that federal & state tax requirements are exceeded. It makes things slightly more tight during the year, but when it comes to doing my taxes, I never sweat it and always end up getting a nice refund.

A little of both - we wanted to convert the room to something usable for more than Norton rebuilding (i.e. usable by her and me), and I needed to get it downstairs in preparation for fluids, etc. which I didn't want to do on a wooden floor.

It's pretty close to being called a motorcycle at this point.

I'm sure the neighbors got a laugh seeing it roll out the front door and down the steps.

I passed the MSF basic rider course (thanks to venomousr1993 and the Quantico crew). Then I rode my bike to work for the first time and the guard at the gate asks me to do a wheelie. Ah, no.

Are you also doing the sportsbike cornering class on 04/26?

Joe...good riding out there the last couple days.  We got lucky with a fairly good group...it is a nightmare when there are a bunch of students who are too timid or cannot follow direction.  I look forward to seeing you out at a meetup this year or local rides.

American Supercamp is awesome...Danny and his crew make it alot of fun.  Wringing out their TTR 125'S is a blast even though you won't get out of 3rd gear.

MIght need to toss a bit of ply between the rails to even things out, but it's worked well so far.
