Put the uniform in the closet for the last time today.

Congrats! First round is on me! (OK, next time first round is on me)

Boughts me a track bike. 2-valve air-cooled EFI 800ss motor in a 750ss frame (that I think is sportin' a 900SS/SP swingarm - unless that style came on other supersports). Suspended on an Ohlin's shock and SP (I think) forks. It's all set up. Looks a bit ratty but some paint will take of that. We'll see how it runs at VIR this Mon/Tues.

Yep. He had it on consignment at DucPond. Don't think I've ever met him.

Had some fun with the GS:

1. Hockey Puck mod, so called because it involves bolting a hockey puck to the bottom of the side stand laughingdp It reduces the side lean and, if you can do it right (I didn't), can increase the surface area.

2. Put a standard cigarette lighter socket in place of the BMW accessory outlet. I'll use it to plug in the electric tire pump (I'm far too posh for a bicycle or foot pump!  Cool .....  laughingdp) RoadPro RPPS-16ES 12-volt Auxiliary Power Port or Outlet

3. Wired a relay into the parking light. I'll use it to power the GPS (once I make the mount for it) and my heated gear.
<sorry, no pics> boo

Since the ACC at quantico got cancelled,  Went on ride in the evening to try out my new dianese leather suit.  The top feels awesome fits like glove. The bottom fits very well except for the knee part, it tends to slide when stopping and such. May be cause I had my ankle boots and not full length boots.

question , I was sliding more than often ,may be due to new leathers, does it like go away after a little wear, or is there something I can apply on the butt area of the pants to help reduce the slide.

Ok the left hand is Pepes.. is the right your dads? Looking a little rough there

Dropped of the KTM wheels for some new skins after last weeks debacle.
Replaced the bad rocker in the KTM as well. Reinstalled the freshly wrapped and painted header, and bled the clutch
